How your allowance works
- Your plan covers the papers you screen.Each paper counts once per review, the first time it's screened.
- Refining your criteria is included.After you change your criteria, you can re-screen papers you've already screened up to five times per review, at no extra cost.
- Re-runs don't count.Running the same criteria on the same papers again, for example if something goes wrong, never counts.
- No abstract, no count.Papers without an abstract aren't scored and don't count. They're kept for a person to screen.
- Unused papers roll over.On monthly plans, unused papers carry forward for three months. On yearly plans, they carry into your next year when you renew.

Do I need a subscription?
Yes. Cidexar is a monthly or yearly subscription. Yearly plans include two months free.
What counts as a paper?
Each record you screen in a review, such as one title and abstract.
What happens if I delete papers or a review?
Papers you’ve already screened still count towards your allowance, so the count always matches the screening that happened.
Can my institution pay?
Yes. Institutions get one annual contract and one invoice, sized to the reviews they support. Purchase orders are welcome. Talk to us
Can I see how my allowance was used?
Yes. Every screening shows which papers counted, which were included at no extra cost, and why.
What if I use up my allowance?
Your reviews, decisions and exports stay available. To screen more, you can move to a yearly plan or add seats, and we’ll show you the options.
